Sweet Persimmon
The fruit is large and flattened. The skin is reddish-yellow, turning orange-red when ripe. It is juicy and produced in Taiwan from late October to late November. Sweet persimmons grown in areas above 1,000 meters and below 1,800 meters above sea level are of the best quality and have an excellent taste. Ripe red persimmons have a sweetness of 18 degrees and are juicy. If they are harvested when they are still orange, the fruit is crispy and delicious, with a different flavor.
